‘The fact remains, there is no need to criminally intimidate and insult others with whom one has a political or certainly in this case personal, bad blood under the slogan of free speech!

CASSA’s council has unanimously decided to make a Police Report on the matter and urge the Home ministry to track these individuals who in many cases also made racist, vulgar, fascists statements!’ – Pn Nora Noor @CASSA Secretary General

Consumerist: Home Ministry Urged – Make Identification Of On Line Commentators Identity A Licensing Requirement!

We have repeatedly urged the Home Ministry to make the above a statutory requirement for licensing for over 10 years!

More so now, as there is a severe abuse of the comments column where individuals hiding under pseudo names – make multiple entries using pseudo names criminally abusing and defaming individuals!

Photo: Yes I agree, the Malaysia Insider photographer caught a great shot of my response 'seconds' - before answering the question laid before me on Dr Wan Azizah and the MB position! ;)

The Home Ministry is referred as a classic example of the abuse in Malaysiakini’s recent report – Don’t jeopardise water deal, group warns PKR!( http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/270321)where over 43 of the comments out of 73 hiding under pseudo names were maliciously attacking and defaming CASSA Chief Dato Dr Jacob George who is also the State Consumer Council (GPNS) Head, a federal government appointment!

Many were from Subang Jaya and several members of a local community website mostly, opposition supporters!

The fact remains, there is no need to criminally intimidate and insult others with whom one has a political or certainly in this case personal, bad blood under the slogan of free speech!

CASSA council has unanimously decided to make a Police Report on the matter and urge the Home ministry to track these individuals who in many cases also made racist, vulgar, fascists statements!

The CASSA chief is no stranger to consumerism been in the field for over 38 years and his track recrd speaks for itself!

In comparison, who are these individuals and what have their contribution been to the state and national interest?

All they do is continue hide behind a pseudo and make criminally intimidating comments on each and every online statements!

Their targets always those who they feel are supporters of the ruling federal government!

If the CASSA Chief and GPNS head has done anything illegal, go ahead and be brave enough to make a Police report and let the law take its course as it would and IF the allegations are unsubstantiated, hearsay, defamatory and so forth, he has the opportunity to initiate legal and criminal proceedings to protect his rights and interests as well!

So those behind the 43 comments be courageous and go make the Police reports!

And the law would require you to state your name and details and in this case you cannot like you do and have done, through time immemorial hide behind a pseudo and do mischief in the name freedom of speech on Malaysia’s online news mediums!

CASSA which is now moving towards been a national body and ready to address any challenge, innuendos, criminal intimidation and defamatory statements directed at her or her leader, Ybhg Dato Dr Jacob George!

Consumerist: UN Told – This Must All Stop! Where are Thou?

The argument “But they use human shields!” has now become a hollow justification for innocent casualties and atrocities in warfare (instead of an explanation), and while many of us suspect that Hamas may be guilty of this, Israel’s massive …
SO MUST THESE WAR CRIMES!
(RNS) Iraq’s Christians are begging the world for help. Is anybody listening?

Presiden dan Penasihat Guaman di Consumers Association Of Subang & Shah Alam, Selangor (CASSA) Malaysia, Datuk Dr. Jacob George semasa di sidang media tentang situasi air di Selangor di Shah Alam hari ini. – Gambar The Malaysian Insider oleh Afif Abd Halim, 1 Ogos, 2014.
