HAUL UP NAME AND SHAME THE 50% WHO FLOATED QUARANTINE SOPS SAYS MALAYSIA ASEAN APEC LEAD CONSUMERIST PROF DR JACOB GEORGE

HAUL UP NAME AND SHAME THE 50% WHO FLOATED QUARANTINE SOPS SAYS MALAYSIA ASEAN APEC LEAD CONSUMERIST PROF DR JACOB GEORGE.
I am flabbergasted to hear dear friend, Senior Minister for Security, Ismail Sabri Yaakob go on record that 50% of Malaysians who were supposed to quarantine themselves at home had flouted the SOPs set by the government.
Ismail said this was revealed to him in a report by the health ministry.
I concur with him that this is indeed a huge number and due to the arrogance, idiocy and negligence these 50% have created a situation where the government decided not to continue with the home quarantine!
The foolishness of a few recalcitrant not only have put to risk infecting others but put paid to the millions of Malaysians who fully abides and followed the government approved SOPs to date.
Millions abided changing their lifestyle in respect of in a call of duty to prevent a worst case scenario for Malaysia in the fight to contain Covid 19!
These selfish 50% and others who ran ‘wild in gluttony and behavior’ post the relaxation certainly did not respect the sacrifices of the front liners either!
They forgot 123 died and more than 8840 cases we have had.
Where is the social distancing, the wearing of masks, the respect for the nation’s SOPs and law?
Their interest was pure unadulterated selfishness, gluttony, arrogance and self-interest.
I see such people daily.
I have highlighted of them and their activities with evidence putting to risk others to the pandemic.
What is strange is the kind of persona they give claiming to be the ‘trailblazers of morality, righteousness and ethics’ when they are basically scoundrels of the highest order who love no one else or the nation except themselves!
They behave and think they are untouchable.
And today because of their arrogance and stupidity those who respect and follow the laws and SOPs are made to suffer collateral damage.
Their lack of a sense of duty had led to family members and the public being infected.
I am fully supportive and can understand how upset the Minister is, knowing of these irresponsible acts!
Due to the folly of these 50% whose names and identities should be made public the new arrivals will have no opportunity for home quarantine.
Let alone the expenses to be borne in view the change of SOP!
I have special words for people like that person wearing a bracelet indicating she is undergoing home quarantine found eating at a restaurant in Perak!
You are indeed a disgrace!
If indeed the government is serious please take immediate action on her and the other 50% by slapping them with a RM1,000 fine or jail term up to six months.
I now urge media practitioners on facebook with me here, to highlight this article on the media forums they represent!

MANY DON’T EVEN KNOW WHAT’S HONOR OR MERIT LAMENTS MALAYSIA ASEAN APEC LEAD CONSUMERIST PROF DR JACOB GEORGE

“But what would be the merit of my victory?
What would be the honor of this medal?
What would my Mother think of it?”
MANY DON’T EVEN KNOW WHAT’S HONOR OR MERIT LAMENTS MALAYSIA ASEAN APEC LEAD CONSUMERIST PROF DR JACOB GEORGE!
This is most appropriate when politicians, nations, the media and stakeholders of policy, law and principles battle a pandemic which threatens global order and washing away sacred cows and beatitudes and upgrades the call for accountability, good governance, transparency, ethics and anti-racism!
As they once coined that you can fool some people some of the time but not all people, all the time which is being realized all over.
Kenyan runner Abel Mutai was only a few meters from the finish line, but got confused with the signs and stopped, thinking he had finished the race.
A Spanish man, Ivan Fernandez, was right behind him and, realizing what was going on, started shouting to the Kenyan to keep running.
Mutai did not know Spanish and did not understand.
Realizing what was going on, Fernandez pushed Mutai to victory.
A reporter asked Ivan, “Why did you do this?”
Ivan replied,
“My dream is that one day we can have some sort of community life where we push ourselves and help each other win.”
The reporter insisted “But why did you let the Kenyan win?”
Ivan replied, “I didn’t let him win, he was going to win.
The race was his.”
The reporter insisted and asked again, “But you could have won!”
Ivan looked at him and replied:
“But what would be the merit of my victory?
What would be the honor of this medal?
What would my Mother think of it?”
The values are transmitted from generation to generation.
What values do we teach our children and how much do you inspire others to earn?
Most of us take advantage of people’s weaknesses instead of helping to strengthen them.
It is a sheer pity and an abomination that we have all forgotten the following in our wild unadulterated political obsession for power and wealth!
“But what would be the merit of my victory?
What would be the honor of this medal?
What would my Mother think of it?”
May the Almighty help us all to return to the right path!
