IN THE LIGHT OF NATIONAL SECURITY DETAIN AND DEPORT ALL UNDOCUMENTED FOREIGNERS SAYS MALAYSIA ASEAN APEC LEAD CONSUMERIST PROF DR JACOB GEORGE

‘The various embassies and foreign consul here on their part have never shown a sincere response to address the problem brought about by those from their countries and through their continued incompetence!

I had personally mentioned this to several personal advisers of sitting head of states!’

IN THE LIGHT OF NATIONAL SECURITY DETAIN AND DEPORT ALL UNDOCUMENTED FOREIGNERS SAYS MALAYSIA ASEAN APEC LEAD CONSUMERIST PROF DR JACOB GEORGE

There is absolutely no need to take unsolicited advice from any quarters be they local or foreign NGOs or for that matter, even UN groups here!

Internal security is the sole prerogative of the Malaysian Home Ministry!

It is easy to script press releases and advisories without taking into cognizance the clear and present danger, social, health and economic threats this undocumented demography pose to Malaysia.

The UNHCR is also an embarrassment.

Have they been comprehensively monitoring those they provided/dish-out UNHCR cards?

There is no need to make bogus claims of ‘explosions’ or subtle inducements of United Nations’ Human Rights Council carrot for the 2022-2024!

That is been mischievous trying to play two ministries against each other!

What is important and has been for over 25 years is that we have yet to launch a clear arrest and deportation schedule taking into account our internal security!

Not the views of laptop mercenaries, industry captains, business interests all of whom have shown in this pandemic and its spikes that they had always cut corners to maximize profits over human dignity, fair wages, accommodation, welfare and healthcare.

They have also failed to monitor those under their approval quota.

We cannot adhere to the age-old excuses recycled over 25 years of blame games and the veneration of the illegals.

The pandemic and the work related clusters has shown the government has to act.

The various embassies and foreign consul here on their part have never shown a sincere response to address the problem brought about by those from their countries and through their continued incompetence!

I had personally mentioned this to several personal advisers of sitting head of states!

Malaysia has indeed been very generous and kind.

But these shenanigans have over-stayed their welcome!

However there is a limit to this generosity when today there are serious implications on national and health security of the nation if the current gaps, weaknesses and dangers not attended to.

I have advised our security apparatus agencies.

I have pleaded to our Home Minister that it is time we acted without fear to detain and depot those illegals.

I support the political will of the home minister and the security team to initiate what is best for Malaysia!

It is time to act and act we must!

No apologies to protecting our borders and our nation!

STOP WASTING TIME WITH SCREENING MOVE TO VACCINATION SAYS MALAYSIA ASEAN APEC LEAD CONSUMERIST PROF DR JACOB GEORGE

I just cannot understand the rationale why we are wasting valuable time conducting screenings when what we should be addressing is the massive vaccination of over 80 per cent of our citizenry!’

STOP WASTING TIME WITH SCREENING MOVE TO VACCINATION SAYS MALAYSIA ASEAN APEC LEAD CONSUMERIST PROF DR JACOB GEORGE

The greatest folly Malaysia has made is put politicians on the forefront of the covid-19 pandemic response instead of Malaysia’s Ministry of Health!

As a result we have seen the abuse, misuse, the double-talk, the BS narrative politicians are known for, questions raise whose felt needs and interests is been addressed at each tier, corporate or the masses, be they the lock-down, with queue-jumping, collapse of an  app which instead of being an assistance was a nightmare?

Let me remind these politicians you are confirmed an idiot the moment you tell trained and tested medical personnel and doctors to train themselves to give vaccines!

It is like telling a Queen’s Counsel whether he is aware of Criminal Law which is a year one subject at law school!

I just cannot understand the rationale why we are wasting valuable time conducting screenings when what we should be addressing is the massive vaccination of over 80 per cent of our citizenry!

What do you expect to gain from this screenings?

Except allow the figures to jump?

Some may not be picked during screenings but may exhibit the conditions later or even pick it up during these massive screenings process?

Let us not forget that Malaysia reported 8,209 new infections on Thursday, taking the cumulative caseload to nearly 600,000. With 103 virus-related deaths, pandemic fatalities rose to 3,096.

We are also facing the rise of workplace clusters, which have recorded a high number of new Covid-19 cases, besides the festive and interstate clusters!

A statement also made by Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

Are we not disturbed that a total of 287 workplace clusters involving 17,087 cases were recorded from April 1 until yesterday, with 233 clusters involving 16,785 cases still active.

That the three States recording the highest number of workplace clusters during the period are Selangor with 74 clusters (25.7%), Johor with 53 clusters (18.4%) and Penang with 31 clusters (10.8%).

That the manufacturing sector is identified as the highest contributor to the cluster compared to other sub-categories with 132 clusters (46%), followed by the service sector with 57 clusters (20%)?

The other sub-categories are the public administration cluster and the construction cluster.

This is a time the nation has to act and act decisively by going into vaccine mode led by members of our Ministry of Health and not be outsourced to politicians and other unqualified individuals, corporate and business interest and clusters!

UNDOCUMENTED FOREIGNERS – TIME TO ACT MALAYSIA SAYS MALAYSIA ASEAN APEC LEAD CONSUMERIST PROF DR JACOB GEORGE

UNDOCUMENTED FOREIGNERS – TIME TO ACT MALAYSIA SAYS MALAYSIA ASEAN APEC LEAD CONSUMERIST PROF DR JACOB GEORGE

First let me state that internal and homeland security is the prerogative of the government!

So certain NGOs who make their living from local and international grants and support by addressing foreigner workers issues should butt out!

As for the UN I say the same.

It is easier if the UN can organize a huge ship and collect these undocumented foreigners from our shores and take them to their asylum cities but will they?

Already UN sponsored card holders are rotting in many destinations, which includes Malaysia!

I have elaborated on this in an earlier post as such no need to repeat herein.

So it is true that I am among the few sane individuals who support the Malaysian home minister on a policy reversal announced this week to arrest workers who lack valid papers in an effort to get them documented, and then vaccinated, as part of measures to contain surging coronavirus cases.

Yes, we are all aware that in February we had assured undocumented migrants that they would not be arrested when COVID-19 vaccinations began.

But have they come forward?

Have they joined forces with the relevant authorities to fast track the matter?

No they are still operating underground.

The latest wave which is a clear and present danger needs a response so as stated by the pragmatic and visionary Home Minister Hamzah Zainudin, the government had reversed its stance to protect the migrants and citizens from a new wave of the virus!

Can these NGOs and those UN related agencies explain why these illegals and undocumented foreigners have yet to seek their respective embassy’s assistance to gain legitimate identification papers?

In fact the government has go a long way in stating that they will assist but these illegal cluster must also do their part instead of continuing to hide while their self-serving mouth pieces self-righteously release press statements and threats?

There is no clandestine motive here as stated by the home minister – once the undocumented get the requisite papers and are vaccinated, they would have to decide whether they want to keep working in Malaysia, or return to their home countries.

The World Bank estimates that between 1.23 million and 1.46 million undocumented migrants worked in Malaysia in 2017.

I believe that figure is grossly underestimated!

As such, it is timely that the Immigration Department, along with the police and the National Registration Department would arrest undocumented migrants and anyone caught flouting lockdown protocols, starting June 1.

This is a time the nation has to act and act decisively and those in the sidelines and outside busy bodies just shut up and politicizing a national security issue!
