Consumerist: Green March Wins Accolades, Admiration And Political Heads Will Roll GE13!

They have won the admiration of all peace loving and low abiding Malaysians!

Their 300 kilometre protest march captured the international wires and ‘Global Green initiatives, ventures and activism!’

Now the movement is about to win hundreds and thousands of volunteers with a website and other activities.

Can they be blamed for addressing these concerns?

Could this have been averted with careful more detailed comprehensive proactive intervention rather than the usual ‘political mantra and knee jerk reactions and administrative blockades’ with utter stupid excuses, a biased, closed mind despite transformation claims and hype?

Would it have helped IF indeed – there was – or – we had a bipartisan approach from our politicians to address these issues rather than the usual divides aided and assisted by a stubborn, aggressive, authoritative response?

Can they be blamed for taking these measures. Their land is being occupied and they feel (rightly or wrongly) that the government is colluding with the predator corporations.

After all it is an issue concerning the health of our future generations!

It is a pity when individuals who are in power because of the votes of ordinary Malaysians forget who their real bosses are!

It boils down to the political arrogance that is being exhibited which the people reject!

Worst, when one forgets that civil society action or people’s power initiatives are on the rise and the voice of the people will eventually triumph over the narrow, selfish agendas of a few who must be now prepared to lose in the next General Elections despite the alleged presence of various forms illegal’s in the electoral roll?
