Consumerist: Sanjeevan’s Shooting No Need To Transfer To Serdang If Possible – Surgeons Can Operate At Seremban GH!

‘I am also sure that there is no necessity to move Sanjeevan to Serdang and that qualified surgeons can be sent to Seremban Hospital to do the needful provided he is physically stable for an intervention!

Moving him from one hospital to another is ludicrous and the danger comes in many folds from security issues to many medical when you move him from one destination to another as security details have also to be really addressed!’ – Dr Jacob George

Consumerist: Sanjeevan’s Shooting No Need To Transfer To Serdang If Possible – Surgeons Can Operate At Seremban GH!

It was reported that Sanjeevan from Mywatch was gunned down at about 4.30pm two days ago in Jempol, Negri Sembilan!

That was two days ago!

To date, he is been moved from one hospital to another and I find it strange and inexplicable why the pussy footing on this matter by the medical authorities!

I am also sure that there is no necessity to move Sanjeevan to Serdang and that qualified surgeons can be sent to Seremban Hospital to do the needful provided he is physically stable for an intervention!

Moving him from one hospital to another is ludicrous and the danger comes in many folds from security issues to many medical when you move him from one destination to another as security details have also to be addressed!

In the meantime, I am more concerned about the comments coming out from ‘many sources and advisers’ all basking in this traumatic sad episode giving their own 2 cents worth!

2 Cents worth comments can cloud issues, prejudice them harmfully, and it is better not to jump to any conclusion about hospital work procedures because there are medico-legal-security reasons for any decision to be taken.

I am all too aware that each and every hospital its own protocols and it must be adhered too, strictly.

It is all confusing and new statements from ‘unauthorized individuals and laypersons’ only tend to muddy a already muddied ground!

In the meantime, I ask the police to strictly monitor the taking and uploading of private hospital based pictures of Sanjeevan’s which is against medical and ethical practice.

One final word – perhaps, all of us can say a prayer or two, at our places of worship for this young man!

Our campaign against RACISM of all forms!
