Now who’s doing the monitoring?
I ask this question as it was put to me by angry Malaysian consumers who are upset that their calls to various agencies went unanswered.
First several medical doctors in private practice furious when local council contractors came to paint over their rented car parks in front of their clinics.
Explanations and showing the contractors evidence of electronic payments made to the municipality were of no use!
Several calls to the respective telephone land line went unanswered.
Until contacts were made to certain officials through their personal mobile numbers and subsequent checks showed the system was not updated of the payments made!
This is incompetence at its finest!
In the second case, several calls were made to MPSJ asking their intervention to clear thick undergrowth behind Chee Wen School in Subang Jaya.
The neglected piece of property now with thick undergrowth now offers asylum and tenancy to all species of snakes, cobras, monitor lizards which are a clear and present danger to the residents of Granville in USJ1.
There is not a week that goes where these now permanent tenants (species of snakes, cobras, monitor lizards) do not cross over and pay visits to the homes causing panic and calls to the Fire Brigade for assistance.
I cannot but ask the state government what ever happened to the promise of a health clinic project on the same vacant land?
Now with the current impasse and incompetence shown lives of residents are put at risk.
Whose responsibility is it to clear that land and maintain it so that danger does not lurk and lives put at risk?
In the third case, can Social Security Organization (SOCSO) please advise us common folks why their landlines given are also not answered?
There are so many questions employers need to ask in view social security coverage not just to locals but to the foreign workers in view of the Covid 19 pandemic and medical tests.
It may include answers to reimbursements and other details.
Currently all calls made by consumers are allegedly not answered.
So one cannot but wonder – are government employees in critical support services working from home or sleeping at home?

I have just cited three incidents here.
I will leave it to the respective leads to attend to these questions failing which I promise a media blitz as this is failing one’s duty of care!
