“Now it is important for receiving countries to know who is coming?
Are they coming to settle in, accept the new life and be one of the citizens, or only to create major political, economic, religious and social problems in the future as we see in many countries where they create their own ghettos, insist of having their own laws, constitutions and worst, continue vulgar practices like honor killings and eventually trying to rough ride and create another Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Libya, Somalia in the newly adopted country?”

DR JACOB GEORGE – WHY SHOULD AMERICA SAY SORRY FOR PROTECTING HER BORDERS!

Believe me – I have no private or personal agenda!

I am an active social scientist and I have my views!

But, I was at the end of some really stern and bad comments on my last post

‘DR JACOB GEORGE SAYS TRUMP SHOULD DO WHATS BEST FOR AMERICA & AMERICAN INTEREST – SO PISS OFF!”

They were actually not from enemies but from what we would call “friendly fire!”

My school mates and I from time immemorial have an understanding!
We respect each others writings and beliefs. We believe we have the right to express what we feel!

If we really disagree, we will take it out on each other by private message or when we meet for meals or drinks and that is often!

There we have a conversation and enlighten each other. And it ends there.

We are all still great buddies despite the religious and racial backgrounds we come from!

So like I was, the Trump administration is under assault from foreign governments, domestic CEOs, and thousands of protesters across the nation!

But, I am glad and rightly so that the members of the Trump administration were hitting back, stern in their refusal to budge, and were unified in their support of the president’s sweeping executive order that bars refugees and people from seven nations from entering the U.S.

Repeating a phrase first uttered by Trump, top aides to the president denied that the immigration order amounted to a Muslim ban and pointed to the Obama administration for identifying the seven countries included in the order.

Further the Trump team also defended the executive order’s at times botched implementation amid backlash from some lawmakers and Federal Judges blocking the partial immigration order.

Among the more vocal defenders of Trump were top aide Kellyanne Conway, who on Sunday emphasized the importance of having safe borders, suggesting that the small number of people who were inconvenienced by the order was worth it to keep the country safe.

Ms. Conway stated 325,000 people “from overseas came into this country just yesterday through our airports.”

“You’re talking about 300 and some who have been detained or are prevented from gaining access to an aircraft in their home countries,” Conway reiterated over the media in particular on “Fox News Sunday.”

“That’s 1 percent.

And I think in terms of the upside being greater protection of our borders, of our people, it’s a small price to pay.”

As a member of the new administration, she also echoed Trump and insisted the immigration order was not a Muslim ban, even as some Democratic lawmakers have argued the opposite.

“These seven countries, what about the 46 majority-Muslim countries that are not included?”

To me as stated by Conway, it totally undercuts this nonsense that this is a Muslim ban!

I would describe that this is a ban on travel from countries, who have a recent history of training, financing, and exporting and harboring terrorists.

In that sense, I would suggest several other countries to be added on to the list!

I am certain the US State department, the CIA, and the Homeland Security intelligentsia fully well know whom else I am alluding to!
In particular, those ‘who hunt with the hounds and run with the hare types!’

When was the last time we did a mapping on the terrorists attacks carried out so far?

Then there is this unfair attack on Trump when the list of seven countries included in the order actually came from former President Obama’s administration, which it did as per a DHS announcement from February 2016.

Let me add that in February 2016, the Obama administration added Libya, Yemen and Somalia to a list of “countries of concern” with respect to its visa waiver program.

For your information, Iran, Syria, Iraq and Sudan were already on the list, according to a release from the Department of Homeland Security.

And the fact that stares at you or any right thinking individual is these are countries that have a history of training, harboring, financing, providing assets or subtle clandestine help through proxies, facilitating entry and exit, safe havens for sleeper cells, and exporting terrorists, because “they are not doing anything here” type of excuse!

Even when some, having their citizens fighting on fronts with the enemy in West Asia and in particular Syria!

Now it is important for receiving countries to know who is coming?
Are they coming to settle in, accept the new life and be one of the citizens, or only to create major political, economic, religious and social problems in the future as we see in many countries where they create their own ghettos, insist of having their own laws, constitutions and worst, continue vulgar practices like honor killings and eventually trying to rough ride and create another Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Libya, Somalia in the newly adopted country?

This was seen in Canada, Australia, the UK, the USA and several countries in Europe!

So as a compromise, why not a moratorium for checks, counter checks, during a period of 90 to 120 days for those from sensitive areas, namely Libya, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Somalia, Sudan  and Yemen?

Look at what has happened in Europe today!

IF there is an election today those sitting in seats of power there, I predict will be out!

This is the new reality going forward – get used to it!
