Malaysian Lead Consumerist: MH370 Lets Be Transparent, Accountable, Professional & Ultra-Sensitive Before Pointing Fingers Or Wild Accusations!

‘We must be corrupt free, truly sensitive and uphold the highest state of professionalism, good governance, transparency in addressing this tragedy!

Anything short of this, robs dignity, and brings abomination to the lives lost, the lives torn apart from losing loved and dear ones in this tragedy and present dangers to future safety of air passengers!’

Consumerist: MH370 Lets Be Transparent, Accountable, Professional & Ultra-Sensitive Before Pointing Fingers Or Wild Accusations!

I am at all not surprised since I have been monitoring this tragedy from day one in London and taking part in several talk shows on the same from there and ground zero!

I have always held the premise that until all the facts are in, we must be fair and professional in our claims, utterances, statements and public outcries as not to hurt the sensitivities of those who mourn not knowing where their loved ones are – even after more than 100 days!

I concur that a close examination of the Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) report into MH370’s disappearance has revealed that Malaysia Airlines only twice attempted to make phone contact with flight MH370 over six hours following its disappearance from radar, a news portal reported today.

I agree as the lead consumer advocate in the region and British trained lawyer that this had caused vital clues to its final location to be lost and resulted in a woeful picture of air safety in the region.

No disagreement there. MH370 is the ‘mother of all cork ups!’

It is the classic handbook of complex and complete idiocy, incompetence and blatant stupidity and in that order!

I agree that had the ground control contacted the inundated MH370 with phone contact attempts it would have given a clearer picture of where the plane went down.

Satellite provider Inmarsat and investigators had calculated the early Indian Ocean search areas based on automatic satellite “handshakes”, initiated by an Inmarsat ground station in Perth, but also from phone calls made from the ground to the cockpit satellite phone that went through the same ground station.

I fully agree that if they had called the plane, the satellite would have tried to log on and the aircraft pinger would have tried to respond!

Instead, after pilots made their final contact at 1.22am, Malaysian time, on March 8, it would be another hour and 17 minutes before ground staff first tried to ring the plane’s satellite phone?

The cork up of all scales in human history is despite receiving no initial response, no one tried to ring the plane again for another five hours. The next call came at 7.13am Malaysian time, after the flight was supposed to have landed.

These ‘professionals’ or basic ‘idiots’ – were not aware that 5 hours is a long time in such scenarios?

But I am certain those in Vietnam may have alerted at some stage other jets within 300 nautical miles to attempt to make contact with MH370 and warning other aircraft that a jet was potentially off-course!

And since there was a report to that effect?

And finally, until all the facts are in, I admonish anyone who are stonewalling or withholding facts, spinning, distorting truth as public interest is paramount here – or tries to blame this tragedy on a ‘rogue pilot’ as that is not how natural justice works!
